Weddings

Why choose us?

We are delighted that you are thinking of getting married and pleased that you are considering our beautiful church as your wedding venue.

Weddings at Holy Trinity Church are often on Saturdays, but can take place on any day of the week.

You don’t need to have been christened to be married in church and it doesn’t need to be an expensive option. You do need to either live in the parish or have a connection with the parish.

We want to play our part in making your wedding day a very special occasion for you and also want your marriage to be a great blessing to you and your family and friends.

It is only fair that you know how much it would cost to be married in our church. To find out more about fees and what we can offer at Holy Trinity Wordsley, please contact the Parish Office on 01384 273221 between 9:00am and 1:00pm Monday to Friday, or call in and see us.

To speak to Revd Lyn Rowson about weddings, please arrange an appointment via the Parish Office or come to Holy Trinity Church on the second or fourth Saturday of each month between 9.30am and 11.00am.

The Church of England provides a website explaining the legal side of marriage, and other helpful information www.yourchurchwedding.org

Getting married elsewhere?

Some couples getting married at another Church of England church will need to have their banns of marriage read at Holy Trinity Church.
If you have been advised that you need your banns read here please visit the Parish Office.

Banns are read on the first three Sundays of the month at Holy Trinity, usually at the 9.30am service.
